Onni Asian Moms Meetups
Breaking the patterns and building emotional literacy
Looking back at our meetups in 2025, one theme kept coming up in the discussions: many of us share the same deep desire to break the cycle of emotional suppression. We talked a lot about the pressure to just keep going and hide how we feel, often at the expense of our own boundaries and well-being. Many of us realize we aren’t alone in wanting something different, both for ourselves and for our kids.
Our first gathering of the year will take place on 6th May. Please join us and let us explore together how to build emotional literacy within ourselves and our families.
What the session looks like:
● A Safe Space: We’ll be guided by Cherren Tang, a coach who brings a deep understanding of the specific cultural nuances we navigate as Asian women.
● Deep Reflection: We’ll have dedicated time for listening to each other with full attention, reflection, and some quiet time for writing.
● Authentic Connection: We’ll be discussing our personal journeys in small groups.
Special Guest:
Cherren Tang, coach and trainer. A second-generation Chinese-Dutch woman. She helps women who grew up between two cultures break free from old patterns and reconnect with their own voice. So they can be themselves, speak up, and take their place.
