Een talentenjacht voor kinderen die willen dansen, muziek maken en natuurlijk zingen, met voorrondes in alle wijken van Rotterdam Noord, onder leiding van een bijzondere host. Hoogtepunt is de finale in Jeugdtheater Hofplein.

Voorronde in Theater Studio de Bakkerij
Kinderen worden uitgenodigd hun talent te laten zien op een echt podium, deze keer in Studio de Bakkerij, de culturele huiskamer van Noord. Een vakjury beoordeelt welke act het meeste indruk heeft gemaakt, en die gaat door naar de finale.

Een mega-vlaggenlijn als symbool van verbinding
De nadruk ligt op samenkomen, verbinding en creatieve expressie. Tijdens de voorrondes wordt gewerkt aan een mega-vlaggenlijn, gemaakt door kinderen uit de verschillende wijken en opgehangen tijdens de finale in Hofplein Theater.

Junior Festival ‘Noord’: talent show in the north of Rotterdam. For young dancers and musical talent.

Open Up Noord
A talent show for children who want to dance, make music and of course sing, with preliminaries in all neighbourhouds of the north of Rotterdam, led by a special host. The highlight of the Junior Festival is the final at Hofplein Theater.

Preliminary round in Theater Studio de Bakkerij
Children are invited to show their talent on a real stage. This time it’s in Studio de Bakkerij, a small theatre in a former chocolate factory. A professional jury will select the act that stands out the most, that goes through to the final.

A giant flag line as a symbol of unity
The emphasis lies on coming together, connecting and creative expression. During preliminaries children will work together to make one giant flag line, that will travel to all the locations to end up at the finale in Hofplein Theater.
